ALEXANDER WINDNER LIEBERMAN is a performance artist, video and projection artist, and live art curator. After graduating from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a BA in theatre and a minor in dance, Alexander moved to Brooklyn, New York to pursue a professional career in performance. Alexander was introduced to innovative projection work while touring worldwide for three years with Pilobolus’s Shadowland. Interested in sharing his international experiences with an emerging arts community, Alexander returned to his hometown of Charlotte, North Carolina to invest in local socially driven performance, movement, and extended video work. After co-founding TAPROOT, devising his own work and creating pieces with multiple local companies in Charlotte, Alexander has relocated to Berlin eager to collaborate.
