MANELICH MINNIEFEE was raised in North Carolina by a family of artists. His mother is an actress and his father and younger brother are both musicians. Manelich was first introduced to modern dance and to Pilobolus dance Company as a student at the American Dance Festival in 1998. That fall he went on to attend high school at the North Carolina School of the Arts where he graduated in 2000. He went on to attend NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts on a full scholarship and graduated with a BFA in 2003. Manelich has had the pleasure of performing works of choreographers such as Gerri Houlihan, Sarah Hook, Alwin Nicholais, Trisha Brown, Nacho Duato and Jose Limon.  He first joined Pilobolus in 2004 touring and creating work with the company for 5 years and since has continued to work with Pilobolus on creative projects including the 2014 production of Shakespeare’s The Tempest co-directed by Teller and Aaron Posner.
